APPLE NEWS

Cool Content!

Please find some great Content Highlights from our ADE Community, Apple Curated Collections and content ecosystem.  We ask that you please also reference this content with your interested colleagues and administration.

As a result of relationships developed at the ADE Institute in Berlin, an all-star international team of Higher Education ADEs developed a book focusing on the use of multi-touch books in Higher Ed. This Institute project included our very own Brazil ADEs Afonso Sales and Raquel Diaz! Please download this book and congratulate Raquel and Afonso on an amazing collaborative effort using the ADE network.
Please check out this new Higher Ed curated app collection recently featured on the Apps store and iTunes U in Spanish language territories.  This collection contains app recommendations for 30 majors/fields of study, and complements the existing app collection “Learning At Every Level” for K12 Teachers and Students. Thanks to the Apple Mexico field team and Campus reps for their hard work securing app recommendations from experts/professors from across the region.
Researching and Evaluating iPad in Learning is a highly practical book in its orientation and, along with the accompanying iTunes U course, it illustrates how school leaders and teachers can use a mobile device like iPad as a research instrument to collect, analyze and disseminate research and evaluation findings. But it is more than a ‘tips for researchers’ guide book. It combines a robust and internationally recognized mobile learning framework (the iPAC framework) with evidence informed examples and scenarios that the authors have identified in the existing research literature or drawn from their own research and experiences in the field of mobile learning

D’Incao Institute
Congratulations to ADEs Pedro D’Incao and Ulisses Antonio de Andreis on securing iTunes U featuring on the iTunes U main page.  Several D’Incao Collections are ranked in the iTunes U Top 20.  Their site is a great example of a well-designed site offering a diverse selection of content.  D’Incao Instituto de Ensino is an Apple Distinguished School located in Bauru Brazil.
